USCG Approved Vessel Ballast Water Treatment System
Marine BWMS Treatment Plan
The ship's Ballast Management System is mainly composed of ballast water pump, ballast water pipe, ballast tank and related valves. The function of the Ballast Water Management Plan is: according to the needs of the ship's operation, the ballast tank of the whole ship is injected or discharged, in order to adjust the ship's draft and ship's longitudinal and transverse stable and safe metacentric height; Reduce hull deformation, so as not to cause excessive bending moment and shear force, reduce hull vibration; The IMO Ballast Water Management System purpose is improving airworthiness of empty cabin.
When the ship is ballasting, the ballast water first enters the Marine UV BWMS filter unit, and the organisms and magazines above 50um in the water are filtered by the Marine BWMS filter screen and photographed through the sewage device. The filtered ballast water then enters the USCG Ballast Water Management System UV unit. The USCG BWMS system controls the UV BWMS System UV unit to produce a sufficient dose of UV light to effectively inactivate organisms in the water. The treated ballast water enters the ballast tank.
When the ship is discharged, the USCG BWMS Plan ballast water in the cabin does not pass through the filter, and directly enters the Ship BWMS UV unit for secondary deactivation treatment to ensure that the outboard IMO Ballast Water Management System ballast water meets the IMO index requirements.
