Ballast Water Management Plan
As we all know the Ballast Management System is very important parts of our vessels .When the Ballast Water Management Plan ballasting , the Marine BWMS filter can remove the sediments and micro-organisms greater than 50ųm . After that ballast water enters the UV reactor and appropriate dose of UV ray is generated in order to inactivate the organisms , such as algae and bacteria in the seawaters .
IMO Ballast Water Management System with the completion of above treatment , the qualified ballast water finally comes to ballast tanks . During the Marine Ballast Water Management System process , filter back flushing and auto self-cleaning of UV lamp will be activated according to the pressure and light intensity change .The UV Type Ballast Water Management System filter is automatically bypassed during de-ballasting , and the UV Type BWMS water receives a second UV-treatment during.
Marine UV BWMS discharge as safeguard to ensure discharged sea water to comply with the convention's requirements . UV BWMS System can be applied to various types of vessels including container ships , bulk carriers , offshore vessels, chemical tankers and so on .
The Ship BWMS(filter and UV reactor)is integrated into ballast water system and so that proper treatment occurs inline automatically both at ballasting and de-ballasting .
IMO BWMS Plan water is treated going through the complete process(filter followed by UV reactor)at ballast water intake and re-treated at discharge through the UV reactor only(filter by passed).The IMO BWMS System UV irradiation of ballast water again during de-ballasting ensures that any bacterial regrowth that may have occurred in the ballast tanks is fully disinfected before discharge .The Marine BWMS Plan switching of related automatic valves in controlled and completed by PLC automatically .
