The transverse displacement is the relative displacement in the vertical direction of the longitudinal axis between one end and the other end of the bellows. Single bellows can have lateral displacement, but the displacement is very small. A good solution is to take the compound bellows as shown in Figure 2. The result is that the lateral displacement compensation increases and the force decreases.
