Marine Platform davit is a freestanding deck mounted davit ,installed on offshore platform,which lowers lifeboat and rescue boat by the help of its own weight, The life boat is lowered without stopping ,as turning out and lowering of the SOLAS platform davit is a continuous motion . Recovery of the lifeboat and rescue boat are done by the using electric boat winch.
Platform Type Lifeboat Davit mainly used for lifting and lowering rescue boat and also for lowering life raft , it can acted as crane based on client's requirement. This equipment adopts hydraulic force rotation type , it can land to water surface by itself gravity and also operate under the circumstance of power failure. Make the lifeboat beyond shipboard and to pull the steel wire so that the winch hammer can control boat / raft landing and stop. Likewise , crew can operate it on the platform . The winch adopts motor-driving gear box reduction organism and with centrifugal speed limit and manual brake function .
