The purpose of Marine rubber airbag is to make use of low-pressure air charging and large-area bearing function to complete the airbag discharging or launching operation on the ship.
Taking advantage of the characteristics of low inflating pressure, large bearing area and easy rolling after large deformation of the airbag, the ship is first lifted from the pier with a lifting airbag, then placed on the rolling airbag, and then the ship is slowly moved into the water by towing the ship and the rolling airbag with steel cables.
The air bag is made of high strength fabric and rubber composite material, which is easy to repair when damaged.
This method is simple and flexible, and can be applied to the launching area with different slope and soil quality. It has been used for launching small barge, tugboat and flat bottom boat with dead weight below 200T for some small inland river shipyards in China.
The production and application of Marine airbags are mainly carried out according to two industry standards: CB/T3795 Airbags for Ships and CB/T3837 Technology Requirements for Airbags for Ships.
Marine launching airbag is an innovative product with independent intellectual property rights in China. Its application is less limited by site and does not require large mechanical equipment. Therefore, it can shorten the engineering cycle and save a lot of money.
After more than 20 years of development practice, it has been proved that this product is safe and efficient, green and environmental protection, flexible and so on.
At present, it has been widely used in heavy lifting and transportation, ship upstream and downstream, caisson lifting and transportation, other heavy lifting, underwater installation works to help buoy and other fields.
Marine rubber airbags are now popular with shipyards, ship owners and Marine supplies companies.
