                             Solas 30KN Single Arm Slewing Davit for Rescue Boat

Single Arm Slewing Davit:

The Single Arm Davit is manufactured and tested under the approval of Classification Society in compliance with the requirements of MSC.47(66)----1974 SOLAS Amendments and MSC.48(66)----International LSA.

Marine single arm davit is a freestanding deck mounted davit consisting of a davit arm, column and winch. It is mainly used for lifting and lowering a boat/raft or other types of raft whose lowering load is not more than 25kN. The boat is lowered by means of remote control, the crew can release and stop the hand brake of the winch from the boat by wire connection to the brake arm and wire spool on the winch. Alternatively the crew can operate the hand brake on the deck. Slewing out the davit arm is realized manually by means of a crank handle. 

The davit is a Single arm slewing type davit , it has left and right version to fit customer needs,besides, SOLAS Approved Single Arm Davit lowers the boat on the water by the help of its own weight,it is a hydraulic slewing type davit and it would be slewed by accumulator or manual pump driven in case of power failure.
