The pole type chain stopper is used to clamp the anchor chain when the ship is moored. The chain stopper delivers the anchor chain and anchor tension to the ship and can bear the anchor chain tension so as to protect the windlass from being in the pulling state.
The anchor chain brake is mounted on the deck between the windlass and the anchor chain pipe.
